Terms of use
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms apply to the Pinhole app for Android, published by BetheApp ("we", "us"). By installing or using Pinhole you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The app
Pinhole turns the area around your phone's camera hole into a shortcut that runs actions you choose. The core features are free. Some features need Android permissions (see the privacy policy); features may not work on every device or Android version.
2. Pinhole Pro subscriptions
Pro unlocks one-touch video and screen recording, studio-quality audio, every Live Island activity and unlimited profiles. It is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions sold through Google Play:
| Plan | Renews | Launch price (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | every week | $3.99 |
| Monthly | every month | $7.99 |
| Quarterly | every 3 months | $21.99 |
- Price: Google Play shows the price in your country and currency, including any taxes, before you confirm. That price is the one charged.
- Free trial: when a plan offers one, the trial length is shown before you subscribe. Google Play charges your account when it ends unless you cancel before. Google gives a trial once per Google account.
- Renewal: each plan renews automatically for the same period and price until you cancel.
- Cancelling: cancel anytime in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds: payments are handled by Google and follow the Google Play refund policy.
- Price changes: if a price changes, Google Play tells you beforehand and, where the law or Google requires it, asks for your agreement.
- Your account: Pinhole has no accounts of its own. The subscription belongs to the Google account you used in the Play Store; use "Restore" in the app to get Pro on another phone with that account.
3. Using Pinhole responsibly
You are responsible for how you use the recording features. Recording people, calls or content without the consent the law requires where you are, or using Pinhole to harass, spy on or harm anyone, is not allowed. Do not reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app.
4. Licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Pinhole on Android devices you own or control, under these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. The app, its name, design and content remain ours.
5. No warranty
Pinhole is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a recording or action will always succeed. Keep copies of anything important.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from the use of Pinhole. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes and ending
We may update the app and these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. You can stop using Pinhole at any time by uninstalling it (and cancelling any subscription in Google Play).
